Athivia Labs isn't an agency. It's a publisher: it owns its products, sets their roadmap, and stays accountable end to end.
Building software that's genuinely useful, making it last, and keeping the data on this side of the Atlantic.
A publisher, not a vendor: every product in the portfolio belongs to the studio, which sets its own roadmap. Not answering to a client means being free to turn down features that age badly.
Sovereignty comes by default, not as an option. Hosting inside the European Union, billing and compliance aligned with European law: the position is structural. And because shipping a product and maintaining it are two different jobs, the studio takes on both.

The method
Everything starts from a constraint set at the outset: hosting stays inside the European Union, billing follows European law. None of this was bolted on afterward in a footer. It's an architectural decision, and most of the technical choices follow from it.
The rest comes down to a way of working. Whatever doesn't need a human hand runs without one: an account gets created, an invoice gets issued, VAT gets calculated by the customer's country. The point isn't automating everything for its own sake, but not redoing the same administrative task a hundred times, and keeping that time for the product.
The same goes for release pace. A published product is a product to maintain, so the catalog never grows faster than it can be kept up.
